Oral presentation guidelines

  • Official language: English
  • Preferred Presentation File Format: Microsoft Office PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx)
  • Use standard fonts such as Times New Roman, Arial, Calibri, or Verdana which will be installed on the session room computers. If you use any unique fonts, your presentation may not operate correctly on the session room computer.
  • Verification of proper performance of the presentation at the Registration desk is highly recommended, particularly if video or animation is included in the presentation.
  • Presentation material submission
  • Please provide us your presentation file on a USB drive long before your presentation to avoid congestion. Presenters of the first day should hand over their files to the technician as soon as they arrive.
  • Presenters will not be allowed to use personal laptops to avoid problems with computer-projector compatibility.
  • Presentation time
  • Please check your presentation schedule and session on the website.
  • It is important that you arrive at your session room at least 10 minutes before the start of your session to make sure that everything is prepared for your presentation.
  • According to the presentation type, the allocated presentation time is different. Please find the details of your session in the programme.
  • Keynote Lecture: 40 min. (including 5 min discussion)
  • Regular talks: 15 minutes (including 3 min discussion)
  • Presentation equipment
  • Presenters will be able to control their presentation slides by using a keyboard, mouse or wireless remote pointer.
  • Our staff will be present to assist with any technical issues.
